In these videos, I introduce the concepts of derivatives and then go over various methods for calculating them using examples. The last two videos discuss the formal definition of a derivative and how to use it to solve problems.

 

Note: Typically, the formal definition of a derivative is discussed before using specific methods to calculate derivatives, such as the power rule or product rule. I decided to discuss the formal definition later because it is more theory oriented and students tend to find this type of material more difficult.
