What happens in the first session?

Before the first tutoring session, I will have the student send me some of their course material so that I’m up to speed on what they’re covering in their class. When we meet for the session I will begin by evaluating the student’s academic needs and see what areas they are struggling with in their particular class. We can then go over material for their course for the remainder of the session.
